A massive fourth quarter from Loxton North saw them claim an impressive win in round two of Riverland Footy on Saturday, coming at the expense of the Berri Demons.
In what was a great display of Riverland football, Berri’s young side showed significant determination and led by 10 points at the final change.
A nine goal final quarter from the visiting Panthers however put the score out of reach for the Demons, with Loxton North eventual winners 17.12-114 to Berri 11.6-72.
Renmark got the win over Waikerie in their twilight fixture, 13.8-86 to Waikerie 6.9-45.
While at Loxton, current premiers Barmera-Monash were too strong for the Loxton Tigers despite a tight first quarter.
Final scores Barmera-Monash 15.11-101 to Loxton 7.4-46.
