Proud Cup back at Loxton

Loxton are now the holders of the Proud Cup after their big win in round four of Riverland Football.  

Loxton had the jump on cross-town rivals Loxton North early, kicking the first five goals before The Panthers were able to kick their first.

North’s comeback while impressive lacked accuracy however the Panthers did hit the front in the 3rd quarter briefly.

Loxton’s final quarter led by Coach Luke Harder & eventual best on ground Harley Campbell silenced the Panthers, with Loxton slotting six goals in the final quarter running out 38 point winners.

Other round four matches saw Barmera-Monash survive a scare from the visiting Waikerie Magpies who led by three goals at half time.

The Roos responded after the break to record a 12 point win, BM 9.11-65 to Waikerie 8.5-53

Renmark remain undefeated after they had a big win over Berri, final scores Renmark 18.16-124 to Berri 4.5-29.
