Let us talk numbers. EA SPORTS FC 27 is bringing over 21,000 fully licensed players, more than 800 clubs, and over 35 leagues. But the real excitement is about who is officially joining the party this year.

If you have been missing Mexican football, you are in luck. Liga MX is making a highly anticipated return, bringing all 18 clubs back into a fully licensed experience. Meanwhile, over in Italy, S.S. Lazio is back, which brings the total number of officially licensed Serie A clubs to a solid 17.

The game has also renewed and expanded its partnerships with some heavy hitters. Expect to see closer ties with English giants Aston Villa and Liverpool FC. The Bundesliga and the ROSHN Saudi League are all returning with renewed partnerships, meaning you will have no shortage of global talent to explore.

For fans of the Australian game, the A-League partnership is fully renewed. You will be able to experience the local action across both the main console game and Mobile, complete with updated team sheets and kits right after the new season kicks off in October. And yes, you can experience all 20 Premier League clubs with their managers, kits, and pundit commentary perfectly recreated.

Playing in a generic stadium just does not hit the same, and EA knows it. This year, they are expanding their stadium list to a massive 140 authentic venues.

If you love playing in the English football pyramid, you will be thrilled to know that all three newly promoted Premier League clubs have their home grounds in the game at launch: Ipswich Town’s Portman Road, Hull City’s MKM Stadium, and Coventry City’s CBS Arena.

For fans of European football, the iconic arches of AS Monaco’s Stade Louis II have finally been recreated. You will also find Real Oviedo’s Estadio Carlos Tartiere and the Legia Warsaw Municipal Stadium. Even the classics are getting a facelift, with Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium and VfB Stuttgart’s MHPArena being completely reconstructed in-game to look better than ever.

When Can You Play?

EA SPORTS FC 27 officially launches worldwide on September 25, 2026. It will be available on almost everything: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and the newly announced Nintendo Switch 2.

Cannot wait that long? If you pre-order the Ultimate Edition or the Ultimate Plus Edition, you can start playing a week early on September 18. EA Play members also get a 10-hour early access trial starting on the exact same day.

With the addition of the UEFA Champions League, Women’s Champions League, and CONMEBOL Libertadores all in one place, the only question left is: which team are you taking to glory first?
