After suffering serious injuries in an unfortunate snow plow accident on new years day, Marvel actor Jeremy Renner is currently receiving intensive medical care and will apparently need to undergo additional surgeries on his road to recovery. The 51-year-old star allegedly suffered blunt chest trauma as well as seriously leg injuries while clearing a driveway of snow. His first surgery took place Monday, with more procedures looming ahead before he can recover fully from this devastating incident.

The Hawkeye star was airlifted to a hospital on Sunday morning, after he allegedly encountered difficulties with a failing safety feature of his snow plow. By some miracle, a neighbour who also happened to be a doctor came to Renner’s aid and provided urgent medical treatment in order to stem the blood loss – applying tourniquets just before 9.50am.
After suffering from injuries on multiple body parts, a 51-year old remains in critical yet stable condition at the hospital. Though it is unknown for how long he had been using his PistenBully groomer or where exactly did he acquire it from, details of this unfortunate incident are still being uncovered.
