Before it was WIN TV - the riverland had its very own Channel 5A.

RTS-5A began on 26 November 1976 broadcasting across the Riverland!

We've tracked down some videos of 5A throughout the years - so lets take an Old School Flashback down memory lane... See how many local faces you can recognise!

First: Back to 1994 for a couple of clips, when 5A would open and close for the day. Love that jingle!

In November 1997, RTS-5A celebrated 21 years of broadcasting in the Riverland. Here's a birthday celebration package that ran at that time - featuring local scenes and some very familiar faces! Still singing along to that song...

From 1997 through to 2004 Journalist Rebecca Marshall read the local news on 5A (and WIN, after 5A was purchased by the WIN Network). Here she is kicking off a local bulletin.

And here we are in 1997 with the historic opening of the Berri Bridge!

In 2000, 5A became WIN Television - here's some local ads from around that time - featuring some local faces!

And finally lets go back to the 80s for the next few videos - and check out what TV in the Riverland looked like then!
