Australian artist JXN has today released an official music video for his brand new single Going Off (feat. A$AP Twelvyy). Directed by Macario De Souza of Hype Republic, the clip sees JXN and A$AP Twelvyy derail their own video shoot. Premiered on Rap-Up earlier today.
“Man, it was just a party,” shares JXN. “The concept we came up with Hype Republic was dope and we wanted it to seem fun whilst also conveying a kinda deep message in the song. I really wanted it to not be taken too seriously, and with Twelvyy being such a legend, it was just a fun and easy shoot. The video makes you happy!”
A$AP Twelvyy adds, “Sequel to this video to air on Netflix next year. Stay tuned. LOL.”
Going Off (feat. A$AP Twelvyy) is available to stream and download now. After making an impressive debut last year with the launch of his first single Solitude, JXN followed up with the release of Red Lights, a collaboration with New York rapper, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie in March of this year. JXN’s early singles have already amassed over five million worldwide streams.
It’s a special kind of artist that has a handle on their own sound so early in their career, but JXN is a rare breed—a songwriter that truly creates, instead of emulating or imitating.
This August, JXN will make his live debut supporting ALLDAY, Mallrat and E^ST at venues across Australia.
