Arnott's have finally put to be bed a conundrum that has had us scratching our heads for years.
The pronounciation of their 'Nice' biscuit has finally been clarified.
For all of us that were calling it the 'Nice' biscuit, as in "what a nice day it is today," we were wrong!
It's actually pronounced like 'niece,' as in "my niece is very taleneted!" Mind blown!
Hi Bruno, thank you for your query. Nice biscuits were named after the city in the South of France and pronounced the same as that city. They have been part of the Arnott's range since 1922.— Arnott's Biscuits (@ArnottsBikkies) June 23, 2020
Apparently, the coconut based biscuit was favourite of Queen Victoria back in the day, and she snacked on them upon her visit to Nice, France!
