Mel C & Geri Horner speak out about Spice Girls reunion

So yesterday the Spice Girls reunited

This would be AMAZING!

Last week it was being reported that the Spice Girls have been hanging out in Los Angeles and discussing a reunion.

The last time the girl group played a show together was at the 2012 London Olympics.

Apparently they've signed on for a reunion, and receiving nearly $18 million (£10 million) each for it, although it doesn't necessarily involve a reunion tour.

It is believed the girl group discussed TV shows, endorsements and a Greatest Hits album.

A source has said, “This is the pop reunion no one thought would ever happen again. But after a long period of negotiation Victoria agreed the time is right to work on new projects this year. It’s very exciting because she has always been adamant she wouldn’t go back.”

Mel C has spoken about the rumours, saying:

“The funny thing is, unfortunately, we can’t do anything without it being all over the press. It’s the worst kept secret in showbiz, isn’t it?”

Mel C said it was “lovely to get together” and they are “talking about opportunities and ideas” but it's still “early stages and there’s nothing set in stone”.

“There’s no big announcement. But it’s just great to be back in Spice World and to see the reaction," she said.

It is also reported that Ginger Spice Geri Horner wants the Spice Girls to launch their comeback by playing at the Royal Wedding in May.
