If at first you don't succeed... Try, try again ... And then again. This is the lesson Ariana Grande has had to learn over the last day after getting a new tattoo that did not have the correct meaning. The first tatto the Thank U, Next singer got was supposed to say "7 rings" in Japanese but instead said "BBQ grill". So after it was pointed out to her by the twitter-sphere, it was quick;y rectified. Or so she thought.
A post to instagram, showing off the new tat and correction.
“Slightly better. Thanks to my tutor for helping me fix,” she wrote. “and to my doctor for the lidocaine shots (no joke). rip tiny charcoal grill. miss u man. I actually really liked you.”

Her tutor had advised her to add the Japanese character for “finger” so that it would change the translation to “seven finger circle” or “seven rings”.
However, the new symbol has been added underneath the character for seven, rather than in-between and above the original inking.
So now her tattoo reads "Japaness BBQ finger" or "fiery finger."
Poor Ariana. Try, try again!
