A driver of a stolen car and two passengers remain in hospital, following a serious crash in Renmark early this morning.
Just before 2.30 this morning Police were called to Renmark Avenue after a stolen Ford sedan hit a light pole and flipped over, before coming to rest in the front yard of a property.
The driver, a 16-year-old from Murray Bridge suffered life threatening injuries while his two passengers, an 18-year-old and a 24-year-old, both from Berri received minor injuries.
All three have been taken to the Riverland General Hospital with the driver expected to be transferred to the Royal Adelaide Hospital today.
Renmark Avenue is currently closed to all eastbound traffic with diversions in place with investigators from Major Crash to attend the scene today.
The car was stolen from a Renmark address nearby a short time before the crash.
