A local council has budgeted for nearly 7 Million dollars of Capital projects, after releasing its Annual Business Plan & Budget.
The Renmark-Paringa council has budgeted for $6.864 million in capital projects, of which $2.354 million worth are externally funded.
major projects to be delivered by Council include the Renmark Riverfront Revitalisation project, as well as Improving agricultural and industrial efficiencies through the continuation of the Government Road strategic freight route.
Council will also invest $70,000 in the Renmark Paringa Business Network, for a series of initiatives aimed a supporting the local business sector to recover from the impacts of COVID-19.
Public consultation on the Plan & Budget 2020/21 commenced on 21 July 2020 and will conclude at close of business on 11 August 2020.
