Following years of limited or no mobile service, Murtho’s brand new mobile base station has been officially switched on.
Member for Barker Tony Pasin said the switch on of the new mobile base station in Murtho under the Mobile Black Spot Program reflects the Coalition Government’s commitment to further improving connectivity in the regions.
Mr Pasin went on to say “Not only does improved mobile service help our regional businesses but it’s a critical safety tool too,”
The Murtho tower is the latest tower to be switched locally under the program, with sites at Bower and Mount Mary also switched on recently.
