BARINA BORDER RUNNER CAUGHT IN RENMARK

A Victorian man has been arrested in Renmark after allegedly breaching COVID-19 directions.

Friday afternoon a member of the public alerted SAPOL to a suspiciously parked Holden Barina near the Renmark cemetery.

Police located a man sleeping in car with checks revealing he had been refused entry to South Australia about 2.30am that morning.

The 39-year-old man from Victoria was arrested and charged with failing to comply with COVID-19 directions.

He was refused police bail and is expected to appear in court today via video link.
