SNAKE AWARENESS WORKSHOPS AVAILABLE TO LOCAL VOLUNTEERS

Snake Wiki

While spotting a snake can be frightening for many, its hoped new snake awareness sessions for volunteers can assist when snake encounters occur.

Run by the SA Murray-Darling Basin NRM board the free awareness sessions for volunteers undertaking environmental works will cover many topics including how to recognise snake hazards, what to do about them as well as the correct procedures to use if an accident happens.

The workshop is open to volunteers across the Riverland and those wishing to secure their place for next week’s workshop are urged to contact the SA NRM office in Berri.
