The trend of Riverland break-ins has continued, this time in Berri.
Just after 4am yesterday residents of a home in O'Malley Street in Berri were woken to the sound of their back door sliding open. The victim got up and noticed someone had entered the home and stolen $60 from the kitchen bench.
Local patrols were quickly on the scene, however were unable to locate the offenders.
Then around 5am yesterday morning police conducting foot patrols on Derrick Street spoke to the occupants of a property after they noticed the laundry door open, luckily nothing appeared to be missing,
Anyone with information is urged to call crime stoppers.
