POLICE CALL FOR CAUTION WHEN DRIVING IN DUST

Local police have warned local motorists of the dangers of driving in dust storms, following two days of heightened dust in the Riverland and South Australia.

Police say Visibility will be impacted in the event of a dust storm, and all motorists should take extra care and drive to the conditions.

South Australia Police also advises that drivers of any type of vehicle should, Put your hazard lights on, Pull over to a safe spot away from the road and If possible, keep your vehicle away from trees.

Anyone who sees suspicious activity in fire danger areas is asked to call the police attendance line on 131 444.
