Local member for Chaffey, Tim Whetstone is encouraging local clubs to apply for funding to secure a defibrillator for their club.
Many clubs across the region now have these life saving devices and Mr Whetstone has encouraged local groups to apply though the active clubs program though the office of recreation, sport and racing.
MR Whetstone said ““Having access to defibrillators is particularly important for large regional areas like the Riverland, where emergency medical services can be limited by distance”
