The first meeting of a new Recreational fishing council was held this week in Port Pirie which included Riverland representation.
Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development Tim Whetstonesaid this was an important election commitment he was proud to deliver for the state’s recreational fishing community.
Mr Whetstone also said “The Council has agreed to a public communicate the key outcomes of the meeting, which can be accessed at via the PIRSA website"
Renmark’s Peter Teakle was appointed to the council earlier this year following an online voting process.
