CLOCK TO WORK AGAIN SOON

PRC

The currently non-working Renmark Town clock is now closer to working again with preliminary work undertaken last week.

The upgrade and modernisation project will commence next month with the council allocating $40,000 to the project with the Murray pioneer to chip in $10,000.

The clock was originally donated to the town by the Murray Pioneer in 1987 and told the time day in day out until recently when it stopped working.

The new clock will be digital, as well as having a temperature feature.
