In Golf, the first leg of the Tri-Club Trophy, played between Loxton, Blackwood and Millicent clubs was held at Blackwood on Sunday.

The hosts had an expected win, with an aggregate of their 10 best scores of 363. Loxton came third with 334 points, just 7 points behind Millicent.

Garry Mudge lead the way for Loxton with an impressive 39 points and Sue Pannell provided excellent support with her 36 points.

Loxton, who are the current holders of the trophy, trail Blackwood by 29 points, which is an improvement from last year when Loxton trailed by 38 points.
