YOUTH WEEK GRANTS NOW OPEN

YOUTH WEEK

Organisations that work withyouthin Riverland can now apply for grants of up to $2000 to host events during next year’s SAYouthWeek, the biggest youth event on the calendar.

Minister for Human Services Michelle Lensink said SAYouthWeek aims to inspire young people to achieve their goals.

The Minister also said “By engaging young people in planning events and activities, the state government encourages a sense of civic participation, share interests and ideas as well as providing an opportunity for voices to be heard.

The State Government will provide a total of $84,000 in grants for SAYouthWeek2019 and is encouraging local councils, State Government and non-government organisations to apply for funding to organise events.
