An urgent public meeting has been called by the Waikerie District Ratepayers & Residents association following concerns raised over the proposed riverfront redevelopment.
Despite the plans not yet endorsed by council, concerns were raised with the proposed designs with a proposed partial removal of a road in which a Facebook poll was conducted via the group’s Facebook page.
Local committee Waikerie delivers recommended The Loxton-Waikerie council explore 2 of the concepts further.
Newly appointed Loxton-Waikerie Council CEO David Beaton however has stressed the plans are yet to be endorsed by council.
The meeting set to held by the Waikerie District Ratepayers & Residents association is set for this Sunday at 4.30 at the Waikerie club.
