In what is an historic and exciting time the first Riverland Women’s Football season is set to commence shortly.
After many years of training sessions, come and try days and even a few trial matches the first ever Riverland Women's football season will be starting in July.
The 5 team competition will be made up of teams from Barmera-Monash, Berri, Renmark, Waikerie as well as an combined Loxton team,
RFL female football chairperson Taylee Healy said the football community was excited about the new competition.
Teams will consist of at least nine players on smaller sized ovals, however if both teams have enough then larger or full sized playing fields will be used.
