Police arrested and charged a 25-year-old Riverland man on Friday with aggravated assault causing harm, carrying an offensive weapon and breaching an intervention order.
The police were called to a Berri address following reports of a domestic disturbance between a man and woman in the street at around 7.30pm.
When patrols approached the man, he allegedly produced a knife but dropped it before being arrested.
The arrested man was refused bail and appeared in the Berri Magistrates Court yesterday.
