57 tickets were donated to St Joseph’s school in Renmark by the Port Adelaide Football Club for their clash against North Melbourne at Adelaide oval last Friday night.
The tickets were given to the school after the students wrote the club's president and CEO heartfelt letters thanking them for the team coming to the Riverland for a community camp earlier this year.
Renmark teacher, Greg Reeks, told The Murray Pioneer the kids had expressed in their letters some of the hardships families in the areas had suffered following the hail storms last year. The CEO and President of Port Adelaide Football Club got in touch with Mr Reeks last school holidays and said they would love to have the students come along to a game.
