Former local Footballer & retired AFL player Sam Fisher has been granted bail in a Melbourne court, and now awaits trial accused of trafficking drugs.
Yesterday the 39-year-old who played over 220 AFL games for AFL side St Kilda was granted bail on a $25,000 guarantee from Fishers family.
Fisher, was arrested earlier this year with it alleged he organised an amount of drugs to be sent from Melbourne to Perth.
The strict bail conditions for the former local Footballer include completing a 90-day residential rehabilitation program, undergoing drug testing and abiding by a curfew.
The matter returns to court in September.
