New Census data has revealed Renmark-Paringa locals are earning more than their Riverland neighbours.

Data released this week outlined the median household income in the Renmark-Paringa area to be $1,226 per week, compared to Loxton-Waikerie & Berri-Barmera areas which sit with a median weekly household income of $1,169.

The Mid-Murray area was lower again having a Median weekly household income of $918, with the Karoonda East-Murray area also having this number.
