More River Murray water could be heading downstream towards the Riverland.

This week the Murray Darling Basin Authority announced further releases at the Hume Dam, to create airspace at the dam heading into the wetter months.

Currently the dam sits at 94% capacity, and releases this week have been as high at 19 G/L per day.

Locally River Murray flows to SA remain high, currently over 37 G/L per day.
