Local grape growers are advised a downy Mildew advice is still in place for the Riverland, with current conditions conducive to an outbreak.

As well as the current conditions,  Riverland Wine are calling for local growers be vary of recent damage caused by hail and wind saying vines may be susceptible to later infection.  

While a downy mildew warning advice is still in place, Riverland Wine say that growers should be wary of Botrytis saying that recent hail and wind damage and that wet and humid weather from now until harvest can lead to the fungal disease.

Riverland Wine encourage local growers to use the Crop Watch advice, together with the Grape Watch app.
