LOCAL SUPPORT AGENCY TO HOST VACCINE CLINIC

AC CARE

Local support agency AC Care is partnering with country SA PHN to host a pop-up covid-19 vaccine clinic at their Berri site on Kealley street this Friday.

While vaccinations remain at other existing sites,  the local support agency see the clinic as their way of supporting all Riverland residents.

A.C Care's Riverland Homelessness Service manager Michelle Storry said it was one way ac.care was contributing to ensuring all South Australians, especially vulnerable people in country areas, had access to the vaccine.

The support agency that offers a number of services will also host another vaccine clinic in late November.

Recently A.C Care announced they will soon operate a residential care house for Riverland youth who are under the guardianship of the Department of Child Protection.

A.C Care is currently recruiting 12 new staff to be based in the Riverland for the new facility, set to open before the end of the this year.
