Upgrades at the Renmark pool remain on track that will see the pool open for the busy summer season.

The pool dates back to 1975 and currently sees the construction of new pool gutters as well as an Extension of pool width to incorporate disability access ramp and stairs.

A recent update also will see the a number of palm trees removed to allow better vision between the 50m pool and the toddler pool, thus improving safety as well as cutting down ongoing tree maintenance costs.

It’s estimated the tree removal will cost $7,500.

At this stage the pool should re-open late October.
