The Renmark Rovers have gone back to back premiers in Riverland A grade football following a 34 point win on Saturday over Waikerie.  

Despite the game being close throughout the Renmark Rovers were able to hold the lead for the entire match, holding off a spirited Waikerie Magpies outfit who battled right to the end.

Saturday’s win at Loxton was the first Back To Back since 1981-1982 for the Rovers.

Renmark playing Coach Josh Vater said it the win was a team effort, and praised the senior list at the Rovers who were able to win the Reserves as well.

Final score saw Renmark 9.9-63 defeat Waikerie 4.5-29.

In the other grades Berri won the under 18’s Barmera-Monash took the under 15’s premiership to the lakeside while the Renmark Rovers were victorious in the under 13’s.
