A recent environmental workshop run by the River Murray and Mallee Aboriginal Corporation & the Department of Environment have been deemed a massive success.

Run at Camp Kedron in Barmera & Initiated by the Department for Environment and Water, the On-Country event was designed to build the relationship and connection between First Peoples and the Sustaining Riverland Environments group.  

Program Leader Nathan Clisby said it was the second workshop of its type  as the Department looks to finalise the lock 3 Master Plan and move its focus to the feasibility assessment and prioritisation of projects.

The Master Plan will consists of 21 option profiles with the aim of improving Environmental outcomes in the Lock 3 and Bookmark Creek regions.
