It’s back to the classroom today for thousands of Riverland students.
With this, the RAA has issued a safety plea to SA drivers to be safe on the school run.
Last year, More than 17,000 drivers were caught breaking road rules around schools.
RAA Senior Manager Safety and Infrastructure Charles Mountain urged drivers to be vigilant around schools and be aware of the relevant road rules.
The school year starting today also marks significant milestone in local education history being the last year of long standing Glossop High School name before the shift to the 'Berri Regional Senior College' name for 2022.
