Sword, handgun used in Brisbane robbery

A man has escaped with a sum of cash after robbing a Brisbane hotel armed with a sword and a handgun.

Shortly after 2.30am Saturday the man entered the poker machine area of a hotel in Camp Hill, demanding money from a female staff member.

No one was injured during the robbery and the offender fled the scene.
