Some members of winning Riverland lotto syndicate might not know they’ve won.
The Saturday night division one $4,000,000 ticket was purchased at the Berri Newsagency by the 15 person syndicate, with Berri Newsagency owners Drew and Paula Nelsson saying they were first in disbelief and then a world of emotions once they found out.
The syndicate also picked up division three 36 times, division four 225 times and division six 400 times, bolstering the total windfall to $4,047,955.90.
Each member of the syndicate receives a share worth $269,863.73, however it’s understood some members might not yet know they’ve won.
It’s the 4th time in 21 years the local Newsagency has sold a winning division one ticket.
