We could be on for new Riverland weather records today as extreme heat sticks around the region & state.
Just this month the January record for Renmark was reset to 47.3 degrees – with today forecast currently to hit 48.
The highest ever temp recorded at the Renmark Airport site is 48.6 – set back in December of 2019

The Bureau have also forecast the chance of raised dust & the chance of a thunderstorm with little or no rainfall in the late afternoon and evening.
