It’s been a shocking 24 hours on Riverland roads, with SAPOL’s Major Crash branch attending two fatal crashes.
Just after 5pm yesterday A 47-year-old man from Berri died after the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a Hilux on RAL RAL avenue in Renmark West.

While a short time later, A 43-year-old man from Somerton Park died following a mutli-vehicle Sturt Highway crash near Blanchetown.
Two other drivers were taken to hospital with minor & non-life threatening injuries.
The highway was closed for several hours while major crash attended the scene, anyone who witnessed the crash or has any information that may assist is urged to call crime stoppers on 1800 333 000
