Nominations are now open for the longstanding Riverland & Mallee Vocational Awards, once again overseen by the Rotary Club of Berri.
Now running for several decades, the aim of the Awards is to acknowledge and reward individuals that have excelled in their chosen field.
Several categories are open for nominations, including the,
- Apprentice of the year,
- Trainee of the year,
- School based apprentice of the year,
- School bases trainee of the year,
- Vocational Education & Training (VET) student of the Year,
Awards Co-ordinator, Bruce Richardson of the Rotary Club of Berri said it was important for our young achievers to be recognised and they look forward to this event with the anticipation that businesses from the region will submit nominations to recognise the achievements of their apprentices and trainees.
Awards are set to be presented at the Berri Hotel in February next year.
