A new high temperature record has been set for Renmark, along with other Riverland towns as the hot spell continues.

Yesterday, Renmark hit a new record high temperature of 49.6 degrees – eclipsing the previous record of 48.6 which dated back to 2019.

That temperature was recorded just after 2.30pm, while Loxton set a new record of 48.2 just after 3.30pm.
