A driver caught well over the speed limit on the Sturt Highway has lost nearly $2000 in fines, with further penalties also issued by Police.
Last Friday the 24-year-old male driver from Cooltong was allegedly detected driving at 185KP/H in a 110KM/H zone at Stockyard Plains.
He was issued a fine of $1997, with the driver also issued 9 demerit points.

He was also issued with a six-month loss of licence notice and had his vehicle impounded for 28 days.
