A Riverland man has been rescued, after he was stuck at the bottom of a mine shaft in Coober Pedy.
The 47-year-old was reported missing to Police on Friday, with SES & CFS crews rescuing the man from the 25 metre mine shaft near on 8pm Saturday.
He was then flown to Adelaide, and is now recovering in hospital, having received treatment for a dislocated shoulder, broken leg and severe dehydration.

It’s not yet known how the accident happened.
