River Murray flows to SA are expected to remain higher than the usual entitlement for May.
The Department expect flows across the border to sit around 7 Gigalitres (GL) per day this week, well over the May entitlement of 3GL/day.
Some of the extra flow has been attributed to environmental water projects, with further environmental water projects at local floodplains in the planning phase for 2024/25 water year.
