RISE IN COLLISIONS SEES FURTHER WARNINGS  FOR REGIONAL DRIVERS 

 An increase of animal car collisions has promoted further warnings from the RAA for those driving in regional areas.

RAA data shows claims for cars hitting animals was up 48% more in March, compared to the month prior.

RAA Insurance spokesperson Kimberley Bolton said “Animals can also be more active during dawn and dusk hours, so be extra cautious when driving at those times, especially on regional roads”

The Sturt Highway was one hotspot listed for the state, as per insurance claim data.
