Berri have secured their spot in the Riverland Football League finals, following a commanding victory against Loxton North Saturday.
The Demons piled on the goals early to set up an eventual 90 point victory, with the undermanned Panther side never in the match. Scores Berri 21.11-137 to Loxton North’s 6.11-47.
Despite the loss, the Panthers remain in finals contention with their rivals Loxton going down to Waikerie 8.8-56 to Loxton’s 2.10-22.
At Renmark it was the Rovers who gave Barmera-Monash a serious contest, with scores level early in the final quarter. The reigning premiers Barmera-Monash were able to rally however to take an eventual 14 point victory.
Those results set up thrilling final round content between Loxton North & Loxton, with the winner progressing to the finals for 2026.
Meanwhile Barmera-Monash remain an outside chance of taking the minor premiership, however would need to win by some margin to overcome Waikerie’s higher percentage.
