Suburbtrends rental pain index for January which has a score from 0 to 100, with 100 being the highest level of rental distress shows Berri having the toughest local market- having a rental pain score of 84.
Renmark was the second highest locally at 75, with Loxton just behind at 71.

Kent Lardner, founder of Suburbtrends, said the report shows an unprecedented level of rental stress, and the situation was putting immense financial pressure on Australian renters.
