After a very dry start to the year, Riverland and Mallee farmers will be keeping a close eye on the sky today.
The bureau say there’s a very high chance of rain developing today, possibly up to 10mm.
As of this morning, no rain has fallen through the region during May, with the last falls observed in March at just 4mm.

For the year, under 50mm has been recorded at the Renmark Airport weather station, well under the January to May average which sits at 82mm.
