As next Tuesday’s federal budget draws closer there are more question marks over promised infrastructure plans in the region.
Unstarted projects spearheaded by the former Liberal Government are believed to be under the microscope, according to CIVIL CONTRACTORS FEDERATION SA.
The projects in doubt include a 202 million dollar freight route in TRURO. While not exactly known where the project may sit, there’s fears by Multiple delays have seen the project currently not started.
Local liberal MP, TONY PASIN says the government must keep the project commitment, inviting the federal treasurer to see the site first hand. He also says it’s a job that needs to be done to make the community safer.
