The State Government is calling for public submissions as it attempts to streamline biosecurity management in South Australia.
Under the plan, a number of separate pieces of legislation would be bundled into one – some of these include legislation first used in the 1920’s.
For many years strong biosecurity has been seen as vital for the Riverland, with the region now battling its most serious fruit fly event in history.
