A number of Riverland areas have been without power overnight due to significant storm activity.
Blanchetown, together with areas of Waikerie, Barmera & Renmark lost power when lightning strikes hit the region after 8.30pm Thursday.
At the peak over 22,000 SA Power Networks customers were without power statewide, however work overnight has seen several outages rectified.

Due the high number of outages it’s not known when power will return to the impacted local areas.
